Our CEO, Mark Bauman, and the rest of the DMCAForce team were incredibly excited to attend the SXSW 2023 Conference in Austin, Texas, one of the largest and most influential events for tech, music, and film. This year, the conference was held from March 10th to 19th and Bauman and our crew participated in various sessions and workshops, all to highlight that no matter if you are an author, performer, musician, or software developer, DMCAForce wants to protect your images, videos, and written works. 

One of the highlights of our time at SXSW 2023 was the surprise performance from Macklemore, who took the stage at ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Friday, March 17th. The energy in the room was electric as Macklemore delivered an unforgettable performance, captivating the crowd with his signature blend of pop, hip-hop, and social commentary.

Additionally, we were grateful for the opportunity to experience the Dolby House, an experiential take-over that highlighted movies, music, gaming, and more! This innovative installation offered a unique glimpse into the future of entertainment and showcased Dolby’s latest technologies in a fun and engaging way. From immersive soundscapes to cutting-edge visuals, the Dolby House was a truly unforgettable experience. Additionally, thank you Whiteclaw for the Tha Dreams and psychedelic rhythms, and Koffee for performing at ACL Live (seen below).

Overall, our time at SXSW 2023 was incredibly inspiring and left us feeling energized and motivated to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in our respective fields. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the organizers of the conference for putting together such a fantastic event, and to Macklemore for delivering an unforgettable performance.
